Some good friends of Chicago Studio Club’s Fred and Tracey are putting together quite a live music event!

Here is a message from our wonderful friend, live music lover Valerie Roebke, to all of YOU . . .

” Tracey Surface and Fred Starr are two of the hardest working people in Chicago’s music scene and they rarely step onto a stage. They give us their all to promote all genres of live music by making their way all around the city shooting pictures of your performances, design and post great artwork to promote your events and keep an up-to-date calendar of your performances. We get a taste of their goodies on Facebook and there’s … so much more to be found on their websites.

With no expectations of a reward, they truly are giving from the heart. We have an amazing musical community in Chicago and a few of us got the ball rolling for you to have an opportunity to give back to Tracey and Fred. Their expenses for traveling around the city, upgrading & maintaining their websites, camera power and printing posters are huge and they could use help with those operating expenses. So, please come to the show and party with us! It’s a FUNdraiser. It’s a reunion. It’s a jam session. It’s a family affair. It’s going to be a Wonder-filled Sunday evening.

Lonie Walker is opening  The Wonder Bar to host our gathering. Mick Archer gave birth to the concept and will play with his band along with variety of Chicago musicians (see list below). Dave Freeman has volunteered to do the staging and hosting.

Please pass spread the word, the MORE the merrier!  If not performing, we’d like to hear that you’ll bring your friends and join the festivities. ”
